He has published more than 200 books in that series and others. Stine, 75, began the “Goosebumps” horror fiction novels with “Welcome to Dead House” in 1992. Stine will return to his hometown of Bexley for a sold-out appearance Sunday at the Drexel Theatre to discuss his new work, “Just Beyond: The Scare School.” Stine, the author who has given goose bumps to millions of teens and children, launched a new graphic-novel series for middle-school readers earlier this month. ![]()
